VATStuff provides a double-entry bookkeeping system, with facilities to create purchase orders, invoices and to record costs and calculate VAT returns. VAT calculations are designed to meet UK regulations, and are not applicable to other states.

Even for non-VAT registered companies, VATStuff enables you to record your transactions and produce invoices.

The code is under development, and though testing is appreciated, it is not yet ready for live use.

The code now needs real-world testing, please try it out and give feedback - if you would like to have a simple, free, accountancy package, widely available and running on both Windows and Linux - then please contribute by testing. Any bugs denounced will be severly chastised.
