Skipole Monitor is a free (GPL licensed) network monitor.
On running the program, a gui window appears, allowing you to add hosts, and groups of hosts.
Skipole Monitor will regularly ping them, showing the results via a built-in web server, and optionally sending alert emails and syslog messages whenever a host changes status.
Anyone can view the results remotely, via a browser.
It has been tested on Windows XP and Linux platforms.
The program aims to be a simple network monitor, easy to install, set up and use.
